Hi all!
It's come to our attention that a recent Windows Update for Logitech camera devices has resulted in the scanner no longing connecting or calibrating properly in MFStudio.
While we're actively developing a more permanent solution, we have a short-term workaround for this issue.
In order to determine if this is your problem, you'll need to visit the Device Manager in Windows. You can find it by typing "Device Manager" into the search box.
Once there, you'll need to expand the "Cameras" and "Imaging devices" areas.
If you see a "Logi C270 HD WebCam" under Cameras, this is the bad driver. You will need to roll it back to the older version. Right-click on this camera to go to the properties page. Once there, click "Roll Back Driver".
In some rare cases the "Roll Back Driver" option will be grey and unselectable; if that is the case, please see this Help Desk article: https://matterandform.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/12978627685645-Manually-Install-the-Logitech-Camera-Driver
After the roll back, the camera should now appear in the Imaging devices area:
If you see the "Logitech HD Webcam C270", try restarting the computer, power cycling the scanner, and launching MFStudio again. Hopefully the connection issue is resolved, but if it isn't please reach out to us at support@matterandform.net
N.B. The Windows Update will also update two other Logitech drivers - these DO NOT need to be rolled back.
